What grew in 2004?

The 2004 growing season was yet another difficult one. With very few consistent periods of sun many plants refused to flower and the fields were often filled with tractor trapping mud. Tropical storms dropping up to 14 inches of rain at a time certainly didn't help. Still SPROUT was the only CSA in the area that didn't canel delivery due to the storms. The Phillips consistently managed to put a wide ranges of items in the bins even if quantities were sometimes smaller than we prefer. A breakdown of what was delivered each week is posted below.

What grew in 2003?

The 2003 growing season was made difficult by the heavy rains we experienced for most of the spring/summer (including a hurricane and tornadoes). It was apparently the wettest summer in 100 years! Asparagus grew for longer than normal in the cool damp weather, but cherries and peaches rotted on the trees before they could be picked. Despite the difficulties with the season we still got large diverse shares every week. Below is a breakdown of what we recieved by week.
